Hello, I’m Nicole.
Originally from Panama, I moved to Colorado with my family at the age of 6 in pursuit of better educational opportunities.
I have undergone training as a labor doula, a postpartum doula, and have completed an infant sleep training. Additionally, I am in my last year of pursuing a Spanish degree at MSU Denver with a translation certificate and completed community interpreter training, covering English to Spanish and Spanish to English.
During my teenage years, I assisted my mother’s in-home childcare facility, in which I gained invaluable experience caring for children from the ages of 7 weeks to 4 years old. Although I have about one year of professional experience, this mainly involves caring after newborns during the postpartum period, mostly during overnight shifts, and providing support during childbirth.
I connect with babies and infants naturally by speaking Spanish to them. I enjoy reading, exercising, listening to music, and indulging in documentaries. I firmly believe in the importance of slowing down to savor the simple little things in life.
